Summer School The Phenomenology of Time [Postponed due to Corona] Imperia, Italy
The summer school “Phenomenology of Time” explores questions related to temporal phenomena such as the experience of temporal passage and the perception events. These will be investigated from the perspective of Husserl’s phenomenology as well as from that of the contemporary debate in the philosophy of mind, with particular attention to the works of Brian O'Shaughnessy. Through research-led lectures and discussion groups the summer school is aims at giving post-graduate students and young researchers some background to the adjoined conference: “Time & Consciousness” ([Postponed due to Corona], Imperia Italy). The summer school and conference are co-organized by the Society for the Philosophy of Time (https://s-p-o-t.weebly.com), the University of Siegen and the Theatre Lo Spazio Vuoto. It is part of aTempo, a festival which aims at exploring the nature of time by bringing academic philosophy with other disciplines such as literature, music and theater (26 August- 2 September, Imperia).
